Pediatric ICU Nurse Manager (RN) - Full-Time - Temple, TX - $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS *Location:* Temple, TX *Facility:* Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's Hospital *Department:* Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) *Schedule:* Full-Time, Monday-Friday About the Role Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring a *Pediatric ICU Nurse Manager (RN)* to lead our dedicated *PICU team at McLane Children's Hospital in Temple, TX*. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced *Registered Nurse with Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience or PICU background* to step into a leadership role and make a direct impact on patient care, staff development, and clinical excellence. Responsibilities As a *Nurse Manager - PICU*, you will: * Lead, mentor, and support a team of registered nurses and clinical staff in a pediatric intensive care setting. * Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered work environment. * Ensure compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies, and accreditation requirements. * Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and patient safety strategies. * Support staff education, clinical growth, and professional development. * Manage department operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation. * Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding pediatric care. Qualifications * Current *Registered Nurse (RN) license*. * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. * Minimum *3 years of RN experience*; ICU/PICU RN leadership experience strongly preferred. * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days). * Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. *Preferred:* * National specialty certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 years). * Experience managing staff in an acute care or pediatric critical care environment.
