Located on Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast, Pensacola is not only the cradle of naval aviation, but also the location for Pensacola Junior College. One of the oldest junior colleges in Florida's 28 college system, PJC is in its sixth decade of service to the Florida panhandle. PJC serves some 30,000 full and part time students a year on three campuses, two centers and more than thirty off campus teaching sites. With more than 200 programs leading to certificates of proficiency, the associate of science, and the associate of arts degrees, PJC continues to be a leader in academic excellence and service to the community.

Pensacola Junior College is a learning-centered comprehensive community college dedicated to providing educational opportunities that develop the academic, career, personal, and aesthetic capabilities of individuals so they may achieve self-fulfillment and participate fully and positively in a democratic society.

Benefits
PJC is a participating agency in the Florida Retirement System. Full time employees receive
the benefits of membership in the Florida Retirement System.
All full-time employees and their eligible dependents may enroll for health insurance coverage under the PJC group plan. Coverage includes office visits, hospitalization, prescription drugs, and other specific health needs.
PJC provides basic life insurance for employees based on age and salary.
Other benefits are available to full-time PJC employees. Information can be obtained from the Human Resources Office.
